Continuing Education Workshops

NJSCSW offers four superior clinical education programs per academic year. These workshops are free to our full paid members and provide a total of 8 free CEUs per academic year. Corresponding Members receive CE's at a discounted rate of $40 per seminar. There is a $60.00 fee for non members to attend each workshop. NJSCSW, is a recognized provider of Continuing Education Units by the NJ State Board of Social Work Examiners. All programs are offered via Synchronous Videoconference.

Current CEU Requirements

LCSWs need 40 credits per biennium and LSWs need 30 credits per biennium.

Five credits must be related to ethics. Three credits must be related to social and cultural competence. One credit must be related to prescription and opioid addiction. 

For LCSWs, 20 credits must be directly related to clinical practice. 

Make sure you’re getting all the CEUs you need!

New Jersey Society for Clinical Social Work Presents CEU Workshops

Free continuing education credits are part of the NJSCSW membership. NJSCSW is a recognized provider of Continuing Education Units by the NJ State Board of Social Work Examiners.
